- The “Tikvara” Nature Park is located on the common grounds of the municipality of Bačka Palanka and is listed among the 3rd rated categories of nature parks. (Environmental Protection Act No’s: 66-91 and 30-924; “Official Journal”, Republic of Serbia)

- It stretches out on the territory of the Bačka Palanka borough. Its grounds are dominated by soft deciduous forests and the entire area is intricate with Danube’s estuaries as well as morass surfaces. The ground of this biome is in public possession, and the majority of the land is held by "Srbijašume" Ltd., the Forestry Authority of Bačka Palanka.
